Nifty, NSE, BSE Closing on 23 Feb :-

The markets traded rangebound today with both benchmark indices closing with moderate losses. February Futures series expired on a bullish note though, with both benchmark indices gaining around 6%. Realty and metal were the worst performers in today's session while support came from FMCG, power and oil & gas. The Sensex closed at 18078, down 67 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5483, down 22 points. The CNX Midcap index closed with 0.4% loss while the BSE Smallcap index was down 0.9% in today's trade. The market breadth was negative with advances at 454 against declines of 999 on the NSE. The top Nifty gainers were BPCL, HUL, Power Grid and BHEL while the biggest losers included JP Associates, Sterlite Industries, Sesa Goa and PNB. 

Intraday Trading Tips for Day after Tomorrow  Friday 24 February:-

Hold RIIL with a stop loss of Rs 475

Hold IFCI with a target of Rs 50 and stop loss of Rs 40

Hold Gujarat NRE Coke with a six-month target of Rs 43 and stop loss of Rs 22.40

Hold IVRCL or buy on dips with a target of Rs 60 and stop loss of Rs 48
