Indian Stock Market Today closed on a negative or can say range bound note. In the morning the market opened very good and gained till the noon, but after the late noon the Stock Market including NSE, Nifty indices started falling in a range bound pattern and from there onwards the market was negative till its closing. So we can say that the Indian Stock Market closed flat today with reality, power and auto being the worst performer, While health care, FMCG and Consumer durables managed to close in green today and gained at the end. Asian market closed green, also the Euro has gained some weight. If we talk about the numbers, The Sensex closed at 17105, up 2 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5193, down 4 points. The CNX Midcap index was down 0.8% while the BSE Smallcapindex also lost 0.9% in today's trade.
