Indian Stock Market Today closed Green. Shrugging off a cautious and slighlty listless start, the Indian stock market moved higher on Wednesday as investors indulging in some sustained buying, amid expectations the government will strive to pass insurance and pension bills during the winter session of the parliament.
Though Asian markets ended on a mixed note and European markets traded weak, the mood on the Indian bourses was fairly bullish, save for a few minutes early on in the session.
Dollar / Rupee is at 55.08, down 0.04%; Euro / Rupee is at 70.50, down 0.16% and Pound / Rupee is at 87.68, down 0.06%.
Sensex closing Session today : The BSE Sensex closed at 18460, up 131 points over the previous close. Day's high: 18478; Day's low; 18309.
