India the home to planet's greatest human capital pool: Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI: Calling India a 'bee-hive' rather than the famous analogy of an elephant, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that 'we are more powerful than China.

"We are more powerful than we realise. Yoga in New York is the power of India," Gandhi said.

Emphasising the need for inclusive growth, Gandhi said that economic vision for the country should be about compassion.

In his first interface with business leaders, Gandhi thanked the business community for changing the image of India on a global scale.

Ahead of his speech, India Inc had expressed keenness to know Gandhi's growth agenda and roadmap for reforms.

More than a month after being promoted as party Vice President, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will had his first interaction with business leaders.
