• Government estimates the country' total food grains production at an all-time high of 257.44 MT for the 2011-12 crop year.
• PSU oil firms hiked jet fuel rates by 1.7% in line with firming international oil rates.

• GodrejProperties is set to develop 110 acres of land in Panvel with an estimated saleable area of 3.5 mn sq. ft.
