Nifty, NSE, BSE Closing on 12 April :-

The markets lost significant part of its gains towards the end but still managed to close with substantial upside. Metal, FMCG and banking supported the indices well while IT and tech tried to pull the indices down. Ahead of its result, Infosys was the biggest dampener among IT counters. The Sensex closed at 17333, up 133 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5277, up 50 points. The CNX Midcap index closed with 0.8% gain while the BSE Smallcap index was up 1% in today's trade. The market breadth was positive with advances at 937 against declines of 490 on the NSE. The top Nifty gainers were Jindal Steel, Reliance Communications, Sterlite Industries and ACC while the biggest losers included Cairn India, Dr Reddy's, Infosys and Wipro.

Buy IFCI with two-month targets of Rs 52 and 55 and stop loss of Rs 34

Hold Reliance Capital with a stop loss of Rs 340 on a closing basis

Buy Sudarshan Chemicals with a 12-month target of Rs 750 and stop loss of Rs 475

Buy Zydus Wellness with a target of Rs 450
