Nifty, NSE, BSE Closing on 30 March :-

Clarification on P-notes provided spurt to the markets and both the benchmark indices closed with significant gains. Oil & gas, realty, banking and metal were the lead gainers in today's session and auto, IT and capital goods, too, made substantial gains. All Sectoral indices closed positive. The Sensex closed at 17404, up 346 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5296, up 117 points. The CNX Midcap index closed with 2.6% gain while the BSE Smallcap index was up 2% in today's trade. The market breadth was positive with advances at 1143 against declines of 319 on the NSE. The top Nifty gainers were Kotak Mahindra Bank, IDFC, SAIL and Ranbaxy while the biggest losers included Cairn, Jindal Steel, Sun Pharma and HUL. 

Intraday Trading Tips for Day after Tomorrow  Monday 2 April:-

Buy Madras Cements with a target of Rs 175-180 and stop loss of Rs 135

Buy ABB at Rs 840 with a target of Rs 920 and stop loss of Rs 800

Buy Ranbaxy with a target of Rs 525
