Stocks surged higher and the key indices Sensex and Nifty breached psycholgical levels on Tuesday, as investors, who had switched over to the buying mode last week after the Reserve Bank of India came out with a slew of announcements to stabilize the rupee, turned even more aggressive and indulged in heavy buying across the board during the session.
The rupee's strong recovery against the U.S. dollar - it rose to a two-week high, rising on the back of a surge in exports in August, and amid easing worries about the Syrian conflict - contributed substantially to the market's impressive surge.◄•••❂❂❂❂❂❂
